- Remove air bag module and steering wheel. See STEERING WHEEL & AIR BAG MODULEΒ under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Remove steering column upper and lower covers. See Fig 1 . Remove wiper and turn signal switches. See Fig 1 or Fig 2 . Locate and disconnect contact reel harness Orange connector from behind instrument panel, near steering column.
