1991 Volvo 940 Turbo, 4D Sedan, AW71SECTION Installation
- To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten lower oil filler tube nut to 65 ft. lbs. (88 N.m). Tighten flexplate-to-torque converter bolts in a crisscross pattern to 32 ft. lbs. (45 N.m).
- On models with rubber drive shaft flanges, retaining bolts must be tightened to 51-65 ft. lbs. (70-88 N.m). On models with standard (non-rubber) drive shafts with 4 retaining bolts, tighten 8-mm bolts to 26 ft. lbs. (35 N.m). Tighten 10-mm bolts to 37 ft. lbs. (50 N.m).
- Adjust kickdown cable and gearshift linkage. Fill transmission with ATF fluid.
