- Turn ignition on. If SRS warning light comes on for about 6 seconds and then goes out, system is operating properly. If light remains on, a fault exists in system.
- If a fault occurs in system while ignition is on, SRS warning light will flash for about 10 minutes and then stay lit. If air bag is deployed, SRS warning light will flash for about 5 seconds and then stay lit.
