WARNING:
Wait at least 20 seconds after disabling SRS. The system retains enough voltage to deploy air bag for a short time after disconnecting power. Servicing SRS before 20-second period may cause accidental air bag deployment and possible personal injury.
To disable SRS, turn ignition switch to LOCK position, and disconnect negative battery cable. Wait 20 seconds before working on system. To activate SRS, reconnect negative battery cable. Perform SYSTEM OPERATION CHECKΒ .
