Code 3-1-2 (Knocking Detected)
Connect voltmeter between turbo control unit terminal No. 30 and ground. Turn ignition on. Reading should be less than 1.3 volts. With engine running, voltage should be greater than 4.6 volts. When engine is knocking, voltage should be less than 1.3 volts.

When to See a Mechanic
Stop DIY work and contact a certified mechanic immediately if any of the following apply:
