Throttle Switch

- Turn ignition off. Connect an ohmmeter between ground and terminal No. 3. Depress accelerator pedal. Meter should show zero ohms in idle position and infinite resistance in other positions.
- Connect ohmmeter between ground and terminal No. 12. Depress accelerator pedal. Meter should read zero ohms in full throttle position and infinite resistance in other positions.
- If any readings are incorrect, check throttle valve switch ground at intake manifold. If ground connection is correct, replace throttle valve switch.
