SERVICE INFORMATION
Improvements have been made to VIDA fault tracing and diagnostics seen in the graphical display (Parameter reading).
The improvements are visible in the following areas.
(See attached)
Fault Tracing--> Function Parameters -->Graphical View Components Parameters Selected-->Graphical View
The Graphic Display (Parameter reading) is now updated. For access, go to one of the following places.
Fault Tracing- > Function - > Parameters -->Graphical View.
Components Parameters Selected -->Graphical View.
The following updates are made:
- Scrollbar added on the X axis (horizontal).
- Zoom the diagram in and out by using the scroll wheel on your mouse or two-finger scroll on a laptop mousepad. You can place the cursor over the value you want the zoom to be centered around. This is applicable for both X-and Y-axis (vertical).
- The Y-axis has one scale for each parameter. To move the parameter graph right-click on the value in the axis and move up or down.
- The colors in the diagram will now be saved in the file, when you save a file from VIDA version 20.15 or later. Next time you open the file the colors are kept the same as you left them.
- Updated layout for the buttons - Stop button is replaced by Pause.
- Home button - If the image is partly out of sight, the home button resets the image to a predefined view where all the signals are visible.
- The arrow keys can be used for navigating on the X-and Y-axis. The Pg Up and Pg Dn keys can be used for zooming in and out.
It is possible to move the values in the vertical axis by right-clicking on the mouse and dragging the value up or down to the desired location, see the image below.
- Values before moving vertically.
- Values after moving vertically
Select area to zoom
- To mark the area you wish to zoom, drag and hold down the scroll wheel on your mouse. This is applicable for both X-and Y-axis.
- Right clicking on the scrollbar with the cursor gives you more options, see the table below. This is applicable for the X-axis.
| Scroll here | Scroll to the position where the cursor is |
| Left Edge | Scroll to the beginning |
| Right Edge | Scroll to the end |
