Evaporator, Removing And Installing: Removing
-- Remove the heater and A/C unit. Refer to HEATER AND A/C UNIT, REMOVING AND INSTALLINGΒ .
-- Remove the Fresh Air Blower -V2-. Refer to Fresh Air Blower -V2-, REMOVING AND INSTALLINGΒ .
-- Remove the air intake duct. Refer to AIR INTAKE DUCT, REMOVING AND INSTALLINGΒ .
-- Remove the coolant pipes from the heat exchanger. Refer to HEATER CORE COOLANT PIPES, REMOVING AND INSTALLINGΒ .
-- Disconnect the air distribution housing and evaporator housing. Refer to AIR DISTRIBUTION HOUSING, REMOVING AND INSTALLINGΒ .
-- Remove the bolts -1-.
-- Release the tabs -4- all the way around -arrows-.
-- Remove the evaporator housing upper section -3- from the lower section -2-.
-- Remove the evaporator -2- from the evaporator housing lower section -1-.
-- Remove the expansion valve. Refer to EXPANSION VALVE, REMOVING AND INSTALLINGΒ .
-- Remove the seal/insulation -3- by pulling the moving part -5- to the side -arrow-.
-- Remove the retainer -4- for the refrigerant lines.
-- When working on the refrigerant circuit, note the information. Refer to WORKING ON REFRIGERANT CIRCUIT .
