2022 Volkswagen ID.4 Pro, AWDSECTION Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:

-- Replace the electronic steering column lock control module -1-.

-- Position the bracket for the electronic steering column lock control module -1- and install the new bolts -3- for the electronic steering column lock control module on the steering column -2-.

-- Tighten the bolts -3- until the head breaks off.

-- If the electronic steering column lock control module is replaced then the test plan for replacing the electronic steering column lock control module must be completed using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.
