Cell Phone Operating Electronics Control Module -J412-, UMI
The Cell Phone Operating Electronics Control Module -J412- is attached to the glove compartment.
Removing
-- Switch off the ignition and all electrical consumers and remove the ignition key.
-- Disconnect any devices connected to the Cell Phone Operating Electronics Control Module -J412-.
-- Remove the glove compartment, refer to Storage Compartments and Covers .
-- Release and disconnect the connector from the Cell Phone Operating Electronics Control Module -J412-.
-- Remove the screws -3- and remove the Cell Phone Operating Electronics Control Module -J412- -1- with the bracket -2-.
-- Remove the bracket -2- from the Cell Phone Operating Electronics Control Module -J412- -1-.
Installing
Install in reverse order of removal.
Tightening Specifications
- Refer to COMPONENT LOCATION, UMI
The Cell Phone Operating Electronics Control Module -J412- is installed in the center console.
Removing
-- Switch off the ignition and all electrical consumers and remove the ignition key.
-- Disconnect any devices connected to the Cell Phone Operating Electronics Control Module -J412-.
-- Remove the rear center console trim, refer to Center Console, Comfort and Highline .
-- Release the retainers -2- on the bracket for the Cell Phone Operating Electronics Control Module -J412- -1-.
-- Pull the Cell Phone Operating Electronics Control Module -J412- -1- upward out of the center console with the bracket and trim -arrow- until the connector is accessible.
-- Release and disconnect the connector from the Cell Phone Operating Electronics Control Module -J412-.
-- Remove the bolts -1-.
-- Remove the trim -2- in the direction of -arrow A- from the bracket -3-.
-- Remove the Cell Phone Operating Electronics Control Module -J412- -4- from the bracket -3- in the direction of -arrow B-.
Installing
Install in reverse order of removal.
