  • Thrust Piece VW 423
  • Torque Wrench 5-50 Nm V.A.G 1331
  • Tube 37 mm Diameter T10203

  1. Sleeve
    • For the selector shaft
    • Removing, refer to Figure
    • Installing, refer to Figure
  2. Gearshift Shaft with Gearshift Cover
    • Replace together
  3. Locking Elbow
    • For adjusting the shift mechanism
    • Removing, refer to Fig 2
    • Installing, refer to Fig 3
  4. Relay Lever
  5. Bearing Bushing
    • Not needed for the plastic relay lever
  6. Seal
    • For the selector shaft
    • Pry out with a screwdriver
    • Inserting, refer to Fig 4
  7. Cap
    • For the transmission ventilation
  8. Selector Lever
  9. Hexagon Nut, 23 Nm
    • Self-locking
    • Replace after removing
  10. Lock Washer
    • Replace after removing
    • Not needed for the plastic relay lever

-- Remove the outer part of the locking elbow.

-- Pry out the locking elbow with a screwdriver.

Installed position:

Marking -1- faces toward marking -2- on selector cover.
