General Information 

The Comfort System Central Control Module performs the following tasks in the vehicle:

  • Sunroof control (issues enabling)
  • Window regulator control (issues enabling)
  • Central locking system control
  • Anti-theft warning system control
  • Radio receiver
  • Rear lid closing
  • Comfort operation

Some of the functions listed above can be adapted. Refer to THROUGH MY 09, ADAPTING COMPONENTS .

DTC Recognition and Display 

The comfort system central control module is equipped with OBD.

Use the Vehicle diagnostic tester under "Guided Fault Finding".

Replace and code the comfort system central control module - J393- (through MY 2009), refer to REPLACING AND CODING, THROUGH MY 09 .

Adapt the components for the comfort system central control module -J393-, through MY 2009, refer to ADAPTING COMPONENTS, THROUGH MY 09
