Roof Antenna

2012 Volkswagen Golf TDI, 2D Hatchback, Automatic DCT TransSECTION Roof Antenna

Removing 

-- Unclip the cover strip -arrow-.

-- Carefully lower molded headliner slightly.

-- Remove the connectors from the mount on the roof reinforcement and disconnect the connectors -arrow-. There may be up to 3.

-- Remove the nut -1- on the roof antenna.

-- Remove the roof antenna upward.

Installing 

Install in reverse order of removal.

NOTE:

When inserting antenna, ensure gasket is properly seated. Both guide protrusions of gasket must be seated in the appropriate holes -arrows- in antenna base.

After installing antenna, ensure antenna wiring -2- is correctly routed through harness opening -1- in securing nut -3-.
