Transmission to Engine Tightening Specifications
For the following:
Golf (from 2010) with a 2.0L TDI engine
M12 Bolts - 80 Nm
• If the insert tool 18 mm (T10179) is used: 65 Nm.
M10 Bolts - 40 Nm
Arrows - Alignment Sleeves
- Replace all the bolts for the transmission mount.
- First, install all the new bolts by hand.
- Then tighten the transmission mount bracket - A - to transmission bolts - 1 - to 40 Nm + an additional 90° (1/4) turn.
- When tightening the bolts - 2 -, the bracket can be pried into position with a screwdriver. Tightening specification for the bolts - 2 -: 60 Nm + an additional 90° (1/4) turn.
The subframe bolt must be replaced.
