Knock Sensor 1 G61

Removing

- Disconnect the electrical connector - 2 - from the knock sensor 1.






- Remove the coolant pump. Refer to => [ Coolant Pump ] Coolant Pump.

The knock sensor 1 is located below the intake manifold behind the coolant pump.

- Remove the knock sensor 1.

Installing

- Install in the reverse order of removal.

Tightening specification, refer to => [ Ignition System Component Overview ] Service and Repair.
