Test Step 4 - ESP Control Circuit
2011 Volkswagen Routan SESECTION Test Step 4 - ESP Control Circuit
- Turn the ignition off.
- Disconnect the ESP switch.
- Disconnect the anti-lock brake module harness connector.
- Measure the resistance of the ESP control circuit to ground.
Is the resistance less than 5.0 ohms?
Yes
- Repair the ESP control circuit for a short to ground.
- Perform ABS Verification Test.
No
- Replace the anti-lock brake module. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Perform ABS Verification Test.
