Removal And Installation: Radiator

2010 Volkswagen Golf TDI, 4D Hatchback, Automatic DCTSECTION Radiator

Special tools and workshop equipment required 

  • Refractometer T10007
  • Hose Clip Pliers VAS 6340
  • Torque Wrench (5-50 Nm) V.A.G 1331/

Removing 

-- Drain the coolant. Refer to DRAINING AND FILLING .

-- Remove the coolant hoses from the radiator.

-- Disconnect the connector for the coolant fan.

-- Remove the fan shroud and fans. Refer to FAN SHROUD AND FANS .

-- Remove the radiator bolts and remove the radiator.

Installing 

Installation is carried out in the reverse order while noting the following:

-- Fill the coolant. Refer to DRAINING AND FILLING .
