  • GYRO = middle value should be between 512-514 when vehicle is still
  • TACHO = display of tachometer impulses counted
  • km/h = display of speed driven after calibration
  • DIRECTION = Reverse light signal activated "↓" or not activated "↑"
  • GPS-ANT. OK = GPS antenna test (if "0" is shaded = no signal, if "I" shaded = signal present)

  • 1 = This value indicates the calibration value determined. If this value is "0", unit is not calibrated
  • 2 = This values is dynamic and gives no indication about the condition of the unit
  • 3 = This values is dynamic and gives no indication about the condition of the unit
  • 4 = This values is dynamic and gives no indication about the condition of the unit
  • 5 = This value indicates the position of the gyrocompass. In rest position, value should be "512 +/- -2"
  • 6 = This values is dynamic and gives no indication about the condition of the unit
  • 7 = This values is dynamic and gives no indication about the condition of the unit
  • 8 = This values is dynamic and gives no indication about the condition of the unit

  • QUIT = by confirming menu item with "CLEAR", DTC memory is erased

Possible Error Messages

  • CALIB. = "ERROR" means a malfunction occurred during calibration
  • SENSOR = "GPS" means there is a reception problem or there is no communication with the GPS module. "GAL" means there is a malfunction in the speed-dependent volume control (GALA). "R" means reverse light signal was not recognized
  • INTERNAL = "ERROR" means there are malfunctions in the gyrocompass or GPS receiver
  • CD-DRIVE = "CD" means malfunctions occurred when reading the CD. "TEMP" means the temperature in the CD drive is too high
NOTE:

A malfunction is only display if it is active at the time of the malfunction check and the internal malfunction counter has exceeded a certain number for frequency of this malfunction.
