  • M10 x 20 hex collar bolt

-- Disconnect the battery ground cable, refer to Battery with Visual Indicator, Standard .

-- Remove the engine cover, refer to [For engine(s) CPRA, CPKA] Engine, Removing and Installing or [For engine(s) CKRA] Engine Assembly or [For engine(s) CVCA] Engine Assembly .

-- Remove the air filter housing, refer to [For engine(s) CKRA] Air Filter Housing Overview or [For engine(s) CVCA] Air Filter Housing, Removing and Installing .

-- Remove the battery and the battery tray, refer to Battery with Visual Indicator, Standard .

-- Remove the crankcase ventilation hose and the air guide hose from the turbocharger, refer to [For engine(s) CPRA, CPKA] Engine, Removing and Installing or [For engine(s) CKRA] Engine Assembly or [For engine(s) CVCA] Engine Assembly .

-- Remove the shift cable -2- lock washer -3- from the gearshift lever -1-.

-- Remove the shift cable -2- from the lug -arrow- from the gearshift lever -1-.

  • To avoid damage to the selector cable, the cable retainer must be disconnected from the selector lever before removal.

-- Pull the securing mechanism all the way forward in direction of -arrow 1- and then unlock to the left in direction of -arrow 2-.

-- Remove the relay lever with the cable retainer, refer to TRANSMISSION, REMOVINGΒ .

-- Remove the cable bracket from the transmission -arrows-, move it to the side and tie it up.
