  • Start engine and let idle.

Vehicles with automatic transmission only:

Test drive and exceed a speed of 30 km/h (approx. 19 mph) once. Then switch off engine and leave selector lever in position 2, 3 or D.

Observe safety procedures during test drive β†’ Safety precautionsΒ  .

  • Set parking brake.
NOTE:
  • On vehicles with an automatic transmission CCS switch will not be supplied with voltage until vehicle speed exceeds 30 km/h (20 mp/h) and the selector lever is in position 2, 3 or D. Once the switch has been supplied with voltage it will also remain live at idle provided a forward gear is selected.
