- With engine at idle, connect Scan Tool (ST) V.A.G 1551 / V.A.G 1552 and select Engine Control Module (ECM) J248 with "Address word" 01. → Scan Tool V.A.G 1551 , connecting , V.A.G 1551 Scan Tool, connecting.
Indicated on display:
