  • Remove fuse 18 (S18).
  • Bridge connector and Camshaft Position (CMP) Sensor (G40) using VAG 1315A/4 adapter cable.

  • Connect VAG 1527B voltage tester (LED test light) to test connectors -2- and -3-, using cables from VAG 1594 adapter kit.
  • Operate starter.
