Front fender, removing and installing

- Remove radiator grille, bumper and wheel house liner.
- Remove antenna from fender (if equipped).
- Remove bolts -1-.
- Remove stud -2-.
- Heat fender in area of A-pillar with a hot air blower and pull fender off (if necessary cut through PVC with an utility knife - this requires help from a second mechanic).
NOTE:
PVC must only be heated lightly and briefly. PVC must not change in color or blister.
- Installing
- When bolting fender in place, install zink packing AKL 381 035 50 to each bolt contact area.
