General Information 

The following components are located inside the instrument cluster:

To audibly support the visual displays of the instrument panel insert, the Instrument Cluster Control Module -J285- activates a warning buzzer.

All control lamps are equipped with Light-Emitting Diodes (LEDs). Servicing the instrument cluster is not planned. In the event of malfunctions, the complete instrument cluster must be replaced. Refer to INSTRUMENT CLUSTER, REPLACEMENT .

The Data Bus On Board Diagnostic Interface -J533- is designed as a separate control module, refer to DATA BUS ON BOARD DIAGNOSTIC INTERFACE -J533- .

DTC Recognition and Display 

The instrument cluster is equipped with On Board Diagnostic (OBD) capabilities

Use the Vehicle diagnostic tester under "Guided Fault Finding".
