External Audio Source Connection -R199
Familiarity with the function and operation is essential in the event of customer concerns. Refer to the Owner's Manual.
After connecting the battery, check all the vehicle accessories, for example, the radio, the clock, the Comfort packages. Refer to [For transmission(s) 0A4, 02E, 09G, 02Q] [For engine(s) BRM, BGP, BPY, BGQ, CBTA, CBEA, CJAA, CBUA, CCTA, CBFA] Removal and Installation and/or the Owner's Manual.
The external audio source connection has a 3.5 mm stereo jack.
The external audio source connection is inside the glove compartment in place of the Glove compartment lamp -W6-.
The external audio source connection -2- is inside the center console.
Installed Location: -1- From MY 2011
The external audio source connection -1- is inside the center console storage compartment.
Installed Location: on RNS 315
The external audio source connection -1- is inside the center console storage compartment. It is located on the right side of the front trim at the bottom.
The external audio source connection works with the Radio/RNS that has an "AUX".
Audio signals (generally the headphone output signals) from MP3 players and CD and cassette players can be played in the Radio/RNS at the external audio source connection with the appropriate wiring connection. They can then be played through the vehicle speakers.
