Data Exchange Via "W" Circuit, Code Control Module

2002 Volkswagen EuroVan BaseSECTION Data Exchange Via "W" Circuit, Code Control Module

Immobilizer systems with control module data exchange via the "W" circuit have automatic recognition of the baud rate. Coding the control module is not necessary.

The correct data transmission speed between the Engine Control Module (ECM) and the control module for immobilizer is automatically stored in the control module for immobilizer once recognized.

NOTE: If the immobilizer control module does not recognize the correct baud rate, coding will be set to "00000" and DTC 65535 "Control module malfunctioning" will be stored.
