NOTE: The starter is activated through the alarm system. Check alarm system for proper operation before troubleshooting starter.
Test requirements
- Starter solenoid terminals and ground strap connections between the engine body and battery must be tight and must not be corroded/oxidized.
- Battery voltage OK, battery charged.
- Use digital multimeter Fluke 83 (US 1119) for all electrical checks.
