Read Measuring Value Block (function 08)

CAUTION:
- Only check wire routing visually.
- Do NOT perform any electrical continuity tests or measurements in ignition circuit.
- Make sure ignition is switched OFF before checking wire routing.


- Scan Tool (ST) V.A.G 1551, connecting.
- Initiate On Board Diagnostic (OBD). On Board Diagnosis (OBD) For Airbag, Initiating

Indicated on display:

Rapid data transfer HELP
Select function XX

- Press buttons - 0 - and - 8 - to initiate "Read measuring value block", function 08.

Indicated on display:

- Press Q button to confirm input.

Indicated on display:

Read measuring value block HELP
Enter display group number XXX

- Select desired display group number and press Q button to confirm.

Indicated on display: (1 to 4 = display fields)

Display group number evaluation contains an explanation of various display field contents.

NOTE: Some of specified display groups have meaning only for corresponding vehicle equipment (e.g. side airbag).

If all display fields indicate "correct":

- Press --> -button.

NOTE: To switch to a different display group, proceed as follows:







- After C button is pressed, following appears.
