VALVE PISTON CONTACT
- Use care when turning crankshaft or camshaft while toothed timing belt is loose or disconnected.
- Piston valve contact is possible and may cause internal engine damage.
- After installing new lifter(s) or cylinder head the engine MUST NOT be started for approx. 30 minutes.
- Hydraulic build up in the lifters MUST subside, otherwise the valves will strike the pistons.
