Troubleshooting, Safety Precautions And Fundamental Points
^ ABS is a vehicle safety system-, appropriate knowledge is necessary to work on system.
^ In order to check complaints and perform diagnosis, DTC must be checked before starting work on ABS system.
^ Only separate connectors when ignition is switched off.
^ Observe brake fluid handling instructions.
^ ABS DTC are indicated by ABS warning light illumination,- certain DTC will only be recognized at speeds above 20 km/h (approx. 73 mph) (perform road test).
^ If ABS -K47- and brake system -K118- warning lights do not illuminate, but brake system is not functioning correctly then perform diagnosis in the conventional braking system.
