Cold Starting Cable
1984 Volkswagen Jetta GL, 1.6 HSECTION Cold Starting Cable
- Insert washer onto cable and install cable into bracket with rubber bushing. Insert cable into pin. Install locking clip to hold cable housing in bracket.
- Make sure cold start knob is completely pushed in against dash. Move pin end of lever as far as possible toward drive sprocket. Pull cable taut and tighten pin with clamping screw. See Fig 1 .
