  1. CHECK PROBLEM SYMPTOM (WARNING NOTIFICATION FUNCTION) 
    1. Check the problem symptom.
      1. Check the problem symptom of the warning notification function.

  3. CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM 
    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
    3. Turn the Techstream on.
    4. Enter the following menus: Bus Check.
    5. Check that all ECUs and sensors that use CAN communication are connected.

  4. CHECK METER WARNING LIGHT 
    1. Check that the warning light of the combination meter assembly illuminates and a message displays on the multi-information display when there is a malfunction, and do not when there is not a malfunction.

      HINT: 

      The warning notification function of the telematics system uses the warning notification signals sent and received by the meter/gauge system. Therefore, if the meter/gauge system is not operating normally, the warning notification function will not operate normally.
