  1. REMOVE DECK BOARD ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [10/2023 - ]

  2. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 FLOOR BOARD 

    Refer to REMOVAL [10/2023 - ]

  3. REMOVE BATTERY HOLE COVER 

    Refer to REMOVAL [10/2023 - ]

  4. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL 

    Refer to REMOVAL [10/2023 - ]

  5. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 20

  6. REMOVE CAM TIMING CONTROL MOTOR WITH EDU ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the cam timing control motor with EDU assembly connector.

    2. Remove the 3 bolts and cam timing control motor with EDU assembly from the No. 2 timing chain cover assembly.
      NOTE:

      If the cam timing control motor with EDU assembly has been struck or dropped, replace it.

    3. Remove the cam timing control motor O-ring from the No. 2 timing chain cover assembly.
