DTC U0322-51: Software Incompatibility with Body Control Module Not Programmed; DTC U0322-57: Software Incompatibility with Body Control Module Invalid/Incompatible Software Component [12/2021 - 10/2023]: Description

2020 Toyota RAV4 XLE, AWDSECTION Description

for Gasoline Model:

  • The millimeter wave radar sensor assembly receives vehicle specification information from the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) and ECM via the CAN communication line. If the millimeter wave radar sensor assembly cannot confirm the vehicle specification information sent from the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) and ECM, the millimeter wave radar sensor assembly stores DTC U0322-51.
  • The millimeter wave radar sensor assembly receives vehicle specification information from the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) and ECM via the CAN communication line. If the vehicle specification information stored in the millimeter wave radar sensor assembly does not match the vehicle specification information sent from the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) and ECM, the millimeter wave radar sensor assembly stores DTC U0322-57.

for HV Model:

  • The millimeter wave radar sensor assembly receives vehicle specification information from the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) and hybrid vehicle control ECU assembly via the CAN communication line. If the millimeter wave radar sensor assembly cannot confirm the vehicle specification information sent from the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) and hybrid vehicle control ECU assembly, the millimeter wave radar sensor assembly stores DTC U0322-51.
