2018 Toyota 86 GT, Standard TransSECTION Procedure
- INSTALL FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR ASSEMBLY
- INSTALL FUEL PUMP ASSEMBLY
- Install the new O-ring and fuel pump spacer to the fuel pump assembly.TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION
*1 Fuel Pump Wire harness *2 O-Ring *3 Fuel Pump Spacer - Connect the new fuel pump wire harness to the fuel pump assembly.
- Apply a light coat of gasoline to a seal, and install it to the fuel pump assembly.
- Attach the 5 claws of the fuel filter to install the fuel pump assembly.NOTE:
When installing the seal, make sure that it does not become pinched or cut.
- Install the new O-ring and fuel pump spacer to the fuel pump assembly.
- INSTALL NO. 1 FUEL SUB-TANK
- Set the fuel suction plate sub-assembly to the No. 1 fuel sub-tank using the spring.
- Apply a light coat of gasoline to a new O-ring and install the O-ring to the jet pump.TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION
*1 Jet Pump - Install the jet pump to the No. 1 fuel sub-tank.NOTE:
- When installing the O-ring, make sure that it does not become pinched or cut.
- Securely attach the claws.
- Attach the 3 claws to install the fuel filter assembly to the No. 1 fuel sub-tank.
- Attach the claw to install the jet pump nozzle to the No. 1 fuel sub-tank.
- Install a new E-ring.
- Connect the fuel pump connector.
- INSTALL FUEL SENDER GAGE ASSEMBLY
