Installation [06/2016 - ]: Procedure
- INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY
- Place the front seat assembly in the cabin.NOTE:
Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.
- Operate the reclining adjuster release handle and move the seatback to the upright position.
- Lift up the seat track adjusting handle and move the seat to the rearmost position.
- Temporarily install the 2 bolts on the front side of the front seat assembly.
- Connect each connector and clamp under the seat.
- Engage the hook of the separate type front seat cushion cover.
- Lift up the seat track adjusting handle and move the seat to the foremost position.
- Temporarily install the 2 bolts on the rear side of the front seat assembly.
- Lift up the seat track adjusting handle and move the seat to the rearmost position.
- Tighten the 2 bolts on the front side of the seat.
Torque: 53 N*m (540 kgf*cm, 39 ft.*lbf)
NOTE:Tighten the bolts in the order indicated in the illustration.
HINT:
For vehicles used with the TORX type bolts, use an E10 "TORX" socket wrench.
- Lift up the seat track adjusting handle and move the seat to the foremost position.
- Tighten the 2 bolts on the rear side of the seat.
Torque: 53 N*m (540 kgf*cm, 39 ft.*lbf)
NOTE:Tighten the bolts in the order indicated in the illustration.
HINT:
For vehicles used with the TORX type bolts, use an E10 "TORX" socket wrench.
- Place the front seat assembly in the cabin.
- INSPECT SEAT SLIDE ADJUSTER LOCKS
- During the sliding operation of the front seat, check that the left and right adjusters move together smoothly and lock simultaneously. If the seat adjusters do not lock simultaneously, loosen the seat installation bolts to adjust the adjuster position.
- INSTALL FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY
- CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
Torque: 6.0 N*m (61 kgf*cm, 53 in.*lbf)
- INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT
