2018 Toyota 4Runner SR5, 4WDSECTION Procedure
  1. REMOVE ACCELERATOR PEDAL SENSOR ASSEMBLYΒ 
    NOTE:
    • Avoid physical shocks to the accelerator pedal sensor assembly.
    • Do not disassemble the accelerator pedal sensor assembly.
    • This accelerator pedal does not require lubrication. Do not apply oil or other lubrication to the accelerator pedal sensor assembly. If applied, the accelerator pedal sensor assembly must be replaced.
    1. Disconnect the accelerator pedal position sensor connector.

    2. Remove the 2 nuts and accelerator pedal sensor.
