DTC B2312: Power Window Switch Malfunction [08/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. CHECK FOR DTC 
    1. Clear the DTC (Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [08/2015 - ] ).
    2. Check for DTCs (Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [08/2015 - ] ).
      RESULT

      Result Proceed to
      No DTCs output A
      LIN communication DTCs are output B
      DTC B2312 is output C

    Result: 

    END (DTC WAS STORED DUE TO SWITCH BEING OPERATED FOR 20 SECONDS OR MORE)

  3. READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (MULTIPLEX NETWORK MASTER SWITCH) 
    1. Use the Data List to check if the power window regulator motor is functioning properly (Refer to DATA LIST / ACTIVE TEST [08/2015 - 08/2019] , or refer to DATA LIST / ACTIVE TEST [08/2019 - 08/2022] , or refer to DATA LIST / ACTIVE TEST [08/2022 - ] ).

  4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MULTIPLEX NETWORK MASTER SWITCH - FRONT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY LH) 
    1. Disconnect the h1 multiplex network master switch connector.
    2. Disconnect the I2 power window regulator motor connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      h1-20 (UP) - I2-10 (UP) Always Below 1 Ω
      h1-15 (DOWN) - I2-7 (DOWN) Always Below 1 Ω
      h1-20 (UP) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

    2. Disconnect the K2 rear power window regulator motor connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
