Rear Air Conditioning Control Panel Circuit: Procedure
- INSPECT FUSE (LH-IG)
- Remove the LH-IG fuse from the main body ECU.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition LH-IG fuse Always Below 1 Ω
NG → REPLACE FUSE
OK: Go to next step
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL - FUSE, BODY GROUND)
- Disconnect the S4 air conditioning control connector.
- Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition S4-4 (E) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω Standard Voltage
Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition S4-1 (IG) - Body ground Ignition switch ON 11 to 14 V - Reconnect the air conditioning control connector.
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: Go to next step
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL - AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER)
- Disconnect the S4 air conditioning control connector.
- Disconnect the H67 air conditioning amplifier connector.
- Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition H67-13 (RLIN) - S4-5 (RLIN) Always Below 1 Ω S4-5 (RLIN) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher - Reconnect the air conditioning amplifier connector.
- Reconnect the air conditioning control connector.
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: Go to next step
- REPLACE AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL
- Replace the air conditioning control with a new or properly functioning one. Refer to REMOVAL .
- Operate the rear power seat module to check that it functions properly.
OK
Rear air conditioning control panel function operates normally.
NG → See step 5
OK → END
- REPLACE AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER. Refer to REMOVAL
