2012 Toyota Prius ThreeSECTION Removal
- INSTALL ENGINE ON ENGINE STANDÂ
- Install the engine onto an engine stand with the bolts.
- REMOVE ENGINE HANGERSÂ
- Remove the 2 bolts and 2 engine hangers.
- REMOVE THROTTLE BODY ASSEMBLYÂ . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 8
- REMOVE ENGINE OIL LEVEL DIPSTICK GUIDEÂ
- Remove the engine oil level dipstick.
- Remove the 2 bolts, clamp and engine oil level dipstick guide.
- Remove the O-ring from the engine oil level dipstick guide.
- REMOVE EGR PIPE ASSEMBLYÂ . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 9
- REMOVE EGR VALVE ASSEMBLYÂ . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 10
- REMOVE EGR WITH COOLER PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLYÂ . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 10
- REMOVE INTAKE MANIFOLDÂ . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 5
- REMOVE FUEL VAPOR FEED PIPEÂ
- Remove the bolt and fuel vapor feed pipe.
- REMOVE FUEL DELIVERY PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLYÂ . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 9
- REMOVE NO. 1 DELIVERY PIPE SPACERÂ . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 10
- REMOVE FUEL INJECTOR ASSEMBLYÂ . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 11
- REMOVE NO. 1 EXHAUST MANIFOLD HEAT INSULATORÂ . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 9
- REMOVE MANIFOLD STAYÂ . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 11
- REMOVE EXHAUST MANIFOLDÂ . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 12
- REMOVE VENTILATION HOSEÂ
- Remove the ventilation hose from the ventilation valve.
- REMOVE IGNITION COIL ASSEMBLYÂ . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 5
