  1. CUSTOMIZING FUNCTION WITH TECHSTREAM 

    HINT: 

    The following items can be customized.

    NOTE:
    • When the customer requests a change in a function, first make sure that the function can be customized.
    • Be sure to make a note of the current settings before customizing.
    • When troubleshooting a function, first make sure that the function is set to the default setting.
    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).
    3. Turn the Techstream on.
    4. Enter the following menus: Customize Setting / Light Control.
    5. Select the setting by referring to the table below.
      LIGHT CONTROL

      Display Default Content Setting Relevant ECU
      Disp Ex ON Sen Normal Changes the ambient brightness level required to dim the lights such as the indicator lights of the combination meter, A/C indicator light and clock.*A Light 2, Light 1, Normal, Dark 1 or Dark 2 Main Body ECU (Multiplex Network Body ECU)
      Disp Ex OFF Sen Normal Changes the ambient brightness level required to cancel the dimming of the lights such as the indicator lights of the combination meter, A/C indicator light and clock.*B Light 2, Light 1, Normal, Dark 1 or Dark 2
      Light Auto OFF Delay 30 s Keeps the headlights on for a certain period of time after turning the power switch off and closing all the doors with the low beam headlights on. Off, 30 s, 60 s or 90 s
      Response Time*1 0.1 s Changes the delay timing of lighting the taillights when going into a tunnel when the light control switch is in the AUTO position 0.1 s or 1.0 s
      Sensitivity Normal Adjusts the sensitivity of the automatic light control system.*C Light 2, Light 1, Normal, Dark 1 or Dark 2
      DRL Function*2 ON ON/OFF of the DRL function ON or OFF
      • *1: w/o DRL
      • *2: Headlight dimmer switch with DRL OFF

      HINT: 

      The sensitivity adjustment may be difficult to confirm. Check by driving the customer's vehicle.

  2. CUSTOMIZING FUNCTION WITH MULTI-DISPLAY (w/ Navigation System (for Navigation Receiver Type) or w/ Audio and Visual System (w/o Daytime Running Light)) 

    HINT: 

    The following items can be customized.

    NOTE:
    • When the customer requests a change in a function, first make sure that the function can be customized.
    • Be sure to make a note of the current settings before customizing.
    • When troubleshooting a function, first make sure that the function is set to the default setting.
    1. Turn the power switch on (IG).
    2. Enter the following menus: SETUP / Vehicle / Vehicle Customization / Light Settings.
    3. Select the setting by referring to the table below.
      LIGHT SETTINGS

      Display Default Content Setting Relevant ECU
      Headlamps-On Sensitivity 0 Adjusts the sensitivity of the automatic light control system.*A -2, -1, 0, +1 or +2 Main Body ECU (Multiplex Network Body ECU)
      Headlamps Auto-Off Timer 30 sec. Keeps the headlights on for a certain period of time after turning the power switch off and closing all doors with the low beam headlights on. Off, 30 sec., 60 sec. or 90 sec.
      Daytime Running Lights*1 On ON/OFF of the DRL function On or Off
      • *1: Headlight dimmer switch with DRL OFF function.
