1. DISCHARGE FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE
(a) Discharge fuel system pressure Service Precautions.
2. DRAIN COOLANT Service and Repair
3. REMOVE FRONT WIPER ARM HEAD CAP Removal
4. REMOVE FRONT WIPER ARM AND BLADE ASSEMBLY LH Removal
5. REMOVE FRONT WIPER ARM AND BLADE ASSEMBLY RH Removal
6. REMOVE HOOD TO COWL TOP SEAL Removal
7. REMOVE COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER RH Removal
8. REMOVE COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER LH Removal
9. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR AND LINK ASSEMBLY Removal
10. REMOVE OUTER COWL TOP PANEL Removal
11. REMOVE SUSPENSION TOWER DAMPER ASSEMBLY (w/ Front Strut Bar) Removal
12. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal
13. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY WITH HOSE Removal
14. REMOVE THROTTLE BODY ASSEMBLY Removal
15. DISCONNECT FUEL TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal
16. REMOVE FUEL DELIVERY PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY WITH FUEL TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal
17. REMOVE INTAKE MANIFOLD
(a) Disconnect the ventilation hose.
(b) Disconnect the union to check valve hose.
(c) Separate the wire harness clamp from the intake manifold.
(d) Remove the 5 bolts, 2 nuts and intake manifold.
(e) Remove the intake manifold gasket.
18. REMOVE NO. 1 INTAKE MANIFOLD INSULATOR
(a) Remove the No. 1 intake manifold insulator.
19. REMOVE KNOCK SENSOR
(a) Disconnect the sensor connector.
(b) Remove the nut and knock sensor.
