DESCRIPTION
When the engine switch is on (IG) and window lock switch is off, the multiplex network master switch sends remote up/down signals to each power window regulator motor via the LIN communication line.

1. CHECK LIN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
(a) Check for LIN communication system DTCs related to the power window control system Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.
OK:
LIN communication system DTCs are not output.
NG -- GO TO LIN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM LIN Communication System
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. CHECK MULTIPLEX NETWORK MASTER SWITCH (WINDOW LOCK SWITCH)
(a) Turn the window lock switch off and operate the switches on the multiplex network master switch. Check that the remote up/down function operates Operation Check.
OK:
Remote up/down function operates.
NG -- REPLACE MULTIPLEX NETWORK MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY Removal
OK -- END
