NETWORKING: LIN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM: TERMINALS OF ECU
1. CHECK MAIN BODY ECU (COWL SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK LH)
(a) Disconnect the 2D, E1, E2 and E3 ECU connectors.
(b) Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.
2. CHECK MASTER SWITCH
(a) Disconnect the I11 switch connector.
(b) Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.
3. CHECK FRONT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR LH
(a) Disconnect the I12 motor connector.
(b) Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.
4. CHECK FRONT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY RH
(a) Disconnect the I4 motor connector.
(b) Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.
5. CHECK REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY LH
(a) Disconnect the J11 motor connector.
(b) Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.
6. CHECK REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY RH
(a) Disconnect the J4 motor connector.
(b) Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.
7. CHECK SLIDING ROOF ECU
(a) Disconnect the R5 ECU connector.
(b) Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.
8. CHECK CERTIFICATION ECU (SMART KEY ECU ASSEMBLY)
(a) Disconnect the E29 ECU connector.
(b) Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.
9. CHECK ID CODE BOX (IMMOBILISER CODE ECU)
(a) Disconnect the E28 ECU connector.
(b) Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.
10. CHECK STEERING LOCK ECU
(a) Disconnect the E26 ECU connector.
(b) Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.
11. CHECK AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER (A/C ECU)
(a) Disconnect the E36 amplifier connector.
(b) Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.
12. CHECK FRONT AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL PANEL (w/o Navigation System)
(a) Disconnect the F10 panel connector.
(b) Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.
13. CHECK REAR AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL PANEL
(a) Disconnect the E55 panel connector.
(b) Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.
14. CHECK RAIN SENSOR
(a) Disconnect the R11 rain sensor connector.
(b) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.
15. CHECK WINDSHIELD WIPER ECU
(a) Disconnect the E83 and E85 ECU connectors.
(b) Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.
