CELLULAR COMMUNICATION: DCM(TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER): INSTALLATION
1. INSTALL NO. 2 TELEPHONE BRACKET
(a) Install the telephone bracket RH to the telematics transceiver with the 2 screws.
Torque : 3.0 Nm (31 kgf-cm, 27 in-lbf)
(b) Install the telephone bracket LH to the telematics transceiver with the 2 screws.
Torque : 3.0 Nm (31 kgf-cm, 27 in-lbf)
2. INSTALL DCM(TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER)
(a) Install the telematics transceiver with bracket with the 3 screws.
Torque : 3.0 Nm (31 kgf-cm, 27 in-lbf)
(b) Connect the 3 connectors.
3. INSTALL REAR CONSOLE END PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation
4. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.
5. CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT
(a) Check the SRS warning light Diagnosis System.
6. PERFORM DCM ACTIVATION
(a) Perform DCM activation DCM Activation.
NOTICE:
When replacing the telematics transceiver, perform DCM activation.
