PCV Valve: Installation

2009 Toyota Yaris S, 4D HatchbackSECTION Installation
  1. INSTALL POSITIVE CRANKCASE VENTILATION VALVE (PCV VALVE) 
    1. Install the positive crankcase ventilation valve (PCV valve).
      1. Apply adhesive to the end 2 or 3 threads of the bolt.

        Adhesive: 

        Toyota Genuine Adhesive 1324, Three Bond 1324 or the equivalent.

      2. Install the positive crankcase ventilation valve (PCV valve).

        Torque: 27 N*m (275 kgf*cm, 20 ft.*lbf)

  2. CONNECT VENTILATION HOSE 
  3. INSTALL CYLINDER HEAD COVER NO. 2 (See  INSTALLATION  )
