Auxiliary Emission Control Systems: Canister: Installation

2009 Toyota Yaris S, 4D HatchbackSECTION Installation
  1. INSTALL CANISTER 
    1. Install the canister with the 3 bolts.

      Torque: 19 N*m (194 kgf*cm, 14 ft.*lbf)

    2. Connect the vent line hose to the canister.
    3. Connect the air inlet line hose to the leak detection pump.
    4. Connect the purge line hose.

    5. Connect the connector.
  2. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 

    Torque: 5.4 N*m (55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf)
