Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor: Installation

- INSTALL ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR
- Provisionally install the engine coolant temperature sensor through a new gasket.
- Using SST, tighten the engine coolant temperature sensor.
SST 09817-33190
Torque: 20 N*m (204 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf)
- Connect the engine coolant temperature sensor connector.
- CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
Torque: 5.4 N*m (55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf)
- ADD ENGINE COOLANT (See REPLACEMENT )
- CHECK FOR ENGINE COOLANT LEAKAGE (See ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION )
