- INSPECT STOP LIGHT SWITCH
- Check the resistance.
- Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance and check the results in accordance with the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION CHARTTester Connection Condition Specified Condition 1-2 Switch pin released Below 1 Ω 3-4 Switch pin released 10 kΩ or higher 1-2 Switch pin pushed in 10 kΩ or higher 3-4 Switch pin pushed in Below 1 Ω If the result is not as specified, replace the stop light switch.
- Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance and check the results in accordance with the value(s) in the table below.
- Check the resistance.
