NO. 1 CHAIN TENSIONER ASSEMBLY
Install the No. 1 chain tensioner assembly with the 2 bolts.
Torque 10 Nm (102 kgf-cm, 7ft-lbf)
NO. 3 CHAIN TENSIONER ASSEMBLY
Install the No. 3 chain tensioner assembly with the bolt.
Torque 21 Nm (214 kgf-cm, 15ft-lbf)
NO. 2 CHAIN TENSIONER ASSEMBLY
Install the No. 2 chain tensioner assembly with the bolt.
Torque 21 Nm (214 kgf-cm, 15ft-lbf)
TIMING CHAIN COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
Temporarily tighten the timing chain cover with the 23 bolts and 2 nuts.

Bolt Length

Make sure that there is no oil on the threads of bolt B and C.
Fully tighten the bolts in area 1 and area 2.
Torque 21 Nm (214 kgf-cm, 15ft-lbf)
Fully tighten the bolts and nuts in area 3.
Torque 21 Nm (214 kgf-cm, 15ft-lbf)
Tighten the bolts and nuts from top to bottom as shown in the illustration.
Fully tighten the bolts in area 4.
Bolt A - Torque 43 Nm (438 kgf-cm, 32ft-lbf)
Except bolt A - Torque 21 Nm (214 kgf-cm, 15ft-lbf)
Tighten the bolts from bottom to top as shown in the illustration.
CRANKSHAFT PULLEY
Torque 250 Nm (2550 kgf-cm, 184ft-lbf)
Install the No. 1 chain tensioner assembly with the 2 bolts.
Torque 10 Nm (102 kgf-cm, 7ft-lbf)
NO. 3 CHAIN TENSIONER ASSEMBLY
Install the No. 3 chain tensioner assembly with the bolt.
Torque 21 Nm (214 kgf-cm, 15ft-lbf)
NO. 2 CHAIN TENSIONER ASSEMBLY
Install the No. 2 chain tensioner assembly with the bolt.
Torque 21 Nm (214 kgf-cm, 15ft-lbf)
TIMING CHAIN COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
Temporarily tighten the timing chain cover with the 23 bolts and 2 nuts.

Tighten the bolts from bottom to top as shown in the illustration.
